Without 2 x defensive midfielders, we get overrun. Simple as that. We can get away with it at home to dross, but if anyone has been paying attention , Southampton are quite good.
It’s not negative. It gives us a platform to free up the likes of Bruno. And having teams walk through us like they were at the start of the season is not us ‘going for it’. A real test this one. I’ll be delighted with any kind of win. |

Not sure what to make of that midfield selection. Good to see Donny in. I know Matic has his uses but he slows everything down too much, IMO.
