Asked the same question a bit ago. Thought by now, Louis would have put his substantial thumb print on the club set up - especially given that city have invested very heavily in this (and publicised it to death)
No one knew. Can't imagine that a three year term helps tbh. Not sure what motivation there is for lvg to overhaul it all with that in mind. Saying that, it's easy to put the youth set up to the back of your mind when the first team is galloping ahead playing wonderful free flowing football. |

Not sure how anyone can argue against a club having 1st class youth facilities in one of the most deprived places in the country benefitting some of the most deprived communities in the country though. Well I'm sure many on here will. They also have a huge scouting network - my son plays in loads of under 8 tourno's in Manchester and they are always there. United rarely are for some odd reason. If city don't benefit then a lot of lower league clubs will. United have a good set up too but it isn't as good as city's from all accounts. |
