I actually £#%&!ed that up. The stat is divided into thirds. Positionally, us and City are lowest in percentage in our own thirds and highest in percentage in the opposition third. There's just a difference in how effective they are, but none of us need stats to tell us that.

I already did, pal. If we pump the ball 50 yards to Fellaini and he flicks it on for someone to score, that move gives us a very high percentage on forward passes, low number of passes per shot, high passes going into the opposition half and all those things we get slagged for.
We don't create enough chances. Simple as that, and we don't need a stat to tell us that it's the case. There's a debate to be had about why we don't create, but stats are easily twisted one way or the other, as I've done above
