No smoke without fire. Something is going on nqat. This could be a ploy to get them to act who knows.

You'd have to be £#%&!ing mad to chuck money at it, and then you'd have to pay off the debt at another £400m and then the fans would expect £500m + chucked at players with some urgency, plus stadium upgrade, training facilities etc. to bring it all up to the level expected of the most expensive sports team in the World.

Be lucky to get any change out of £6bn as an initial investment to get it to the level to compete with their enemies. Sounds like chump change to them, but I doubt even they would chuck that about lightly.

City were the perfect choice to purchase having recently been gifted a brand new stadium, Shiniwata or whatever he was called having sorted them out for a year and the scope for investment in the area surrounding the stadium. United are a money pit in comparison..
Why would we need a stadium upgrade ?

Just fix the WiFi and the job's a good 'un

Because Old Trafford hasn't had a decent refurb in about 15 years.

Yeah but the Glazers don't get involved in all that, although they might finance it.

It would cost hundreds of millions to fix the WiFi due to the train tracks.

This could be the boost that NWAF needed. The guarantee of no Jacqui oatley commentaries alone would be worth it

Football’s dead mate; these days it’s all about Neymar, money laundering, instagram and quadrangular low blocks.

Admitting to 'sponsor deal talks' is an absolute "we're talking figures about the sale". Surely?
