it's sad but managing Bournemouth or Brighton is probably more relevant experience than managing ajax.

anyway I'd go for another B teams manager, Thomas frank.

Can anyone actually give a good reason as to why they want him gone? So far no one has actually explained their line of thinking clearly.

Go on, enlighten me.

Apart from the 2000 posts saying how the football makes your eyes bleed, I agree mate.

The 4000 posts about how Rashford still gets picked, when he's doing less than £#%&! all - you're bang on.

The 160000 posts about nobody knowing what style we play and we get dominated by teams like Luton and Sheffield United - again, totally spot on.

People need to stop hounding the guy for no reason.

Obviously the PL is far, far more competitive as a whole than almost all of the rest of the leagues in Europe - it's a tough job, really tough at United with the absolutely schizophrenic bunch of players we have across the squad from multiple previous regimes.

But.

He's just not sorted it out. Iraola has been at Bournemouth for one season & it's very clear his side is made of less quality but better coaching. How can we get schooled by Bournemouth ffs - it was 3-0 at OT

ETH has had longer, shitloads more money, better quality players & simply produced some of the worst football I've ever seen - culminating in us being an absolute piece of piss to score against.

For me, ETH is too rigid, his patters of play might have worked well at Ajax, but here he's being out thought. His motivation is questionable when look at the spectacularly half arsed efforts we're seeing. His %@#$&!s are the biggest concern, the fact Garnacho even thinks he can like social media posts about him having favourites etc and the Sancho thing. Worse, the continued backing of Rashford rather than calling him out, smacks of a man who doesn't have the aura to be United manager.

He's a good football man, he knows his onions, he's just a bit limited & doesn't have the character to own the club.

Let's hope he has a top send off with the cup & we can look for someone who'll come in & actually improve us.

There's a danger the new man will want another season to assess his squad, get the best out of Rashford etc, but frankly that should be on the club & replacing him / others with top quality players.

Coaches these days don't have the old ways, player identification / scouting shouldn't be put on a coach unless they have a special request IMO. Game has moved on.

Rashford abuse is driven largely by social media window lickers that don't watch the game in full, and don't really know ball.

He's one of the elite attacking players in Europe, hence why a club like PSG have him at the top of their wishlist to replace Mbappe.

A greased lightning attacking outlet that consistently pins the opposition full back, has the ability to go both ways with ball at feet, creates gaps between opposition right-backs and opposition right-sided centre-backs for the central striker, false 9, trequartista or advanced central midfielder to exploit, can strike a ball with targeted precision from distance off the ground to find the target at various heights and angles, both from moving moves and deadballs, and can arrive late into the box to finish effectively at the back post, with both feet and head.

This is why ten Hag picks him.

HTH.
