We’ll sign him on a 7 year contract.

New manager. Loads of time since Ole went. Loads of time to plan. No world cups etc. to distract.

Yet still we are mid August with 3 mediocre signings. Still no striker, CDM or zesty winger.

Disgraceful.
It all just proves they’ve no plan and no belief in what they’re doing. Negotiating with loads of players at once, giving themselves options etc. trying to find the one that is financially viable or favourable, hanging on and delaying in fear of signing the wrong one too early and missing out on someone better further down the line. It all just spanks of uncertainty and insecurity, oh, and penny pinching.

They have no idea what they are doing, Rabiot is absolute proof of that imo, signing him is 100% because he is available for a fee they consider a bargain. His worth on the balance sheet on a 3-4 year deal will be miles more than the £15m they pay for him. That’s what matters.

I've not followed him for a while, but what is his USP?

English? scored a good few goals? cheap?

Is this the only name we can come up with, across the whole of the footballing world??

Jesus wept....

Been the same for over 15 years. We're the stupid ones for thinking they might have changed this summer. Wouldn't surprise me if Ten Hag walks before Christmas.

is he 36 i think doubt he would do much for us , gets a lot of injuries too , this more evidence of the widespread panic that we are suffering from , they knew cavani , greenwood , pogba , lingard , mata , matic were all going and they have not replaced any of them , failure to prepare prepare to fail

Wonder if he regrets not listening to Van Gaal?

We're about to replace Ronaldo with Jamie Vardy. The scenes and memes if he turns our season around.

Could also be a case of weakening our rivals, because Leicester are our level at the moment. At best.

It's like since Falcao, Ighalo and Cavani, we're actively trying to sign even older strikers.

Back in January Ragnick pointed out to the Board that we needed a striker in case it wasnt clear. And here we are with two weeks before the window closes chasing after Arnautovic and a near 36 year-old Jamie Bloody Vardy
