Question Favourite TV Chef

Not sure if it ties in with all the feeling old threads that seem to be popping up but I canít get enough of Rick Stein at the minute. Gone through them all recently and just finished the Mexico one on BBC. Find him very interesting and love the history back story to all his shows.

Itís weird because I like most of them, Ramsay a close second and probably HFW (new season of River Cottage just started) but I have a strong feeling that theyíre actually a******s in real life

Anyway, whoís yours?

Always fascinates me how Rick Stein ended up with a TV career, he's dreadful with social interactions, it's always awkward as f*** when he tries to communicate with people.

I like Stein, excellent. Nigella , Raymond Blanc. Also enjoy the hairy bikers who are not proper chefs obv but turn out good looking food and seem like really nice blokes

Would be Ramsay of that list. Absolutely love Kitchen Nightmares even if it did become very formulaic.

I went through a bar rescue phase too. It's more formulaic but they often do some good hidden cam before they do the rescue so I f***ing love that.

I generally skip the saving part. It's the dysfunction that I love in these shows.

I was going for the ones that are alive. You can tell Stein is heavily influenced by him
