I know they were a £#%&!ing mess in the 90s but jesus christ i don't ever remember going into games against them as such overwhelmingly heavy favourites.

I'll bet they can't £#%&!ing wait to get on that pitch and give us a right good £#%&!ing stuffing.
Thinking the same myself earlier.

I always felt like anything could happen in these games but now there’s no bigger guarantee in life than us getting spanked tonight.

Things will eventually get better obvs and once Klopp £#%&!s off they’ll surely decline, but £#%&! me it’s been brutal.

Phil Jones is starting at Anfield.

This is not a £#%&!ing drill, repeat this is NOT a £#%&!ing drill.

We’ve finished above them 25 times in the last 30 seasons, including last season.

For the most part even at their lowest they managed to give us a good game. Come to think of it, it’s only Juanfield that comes to mind in recent memory where we comprehensively outplayed them, and that was still only 2-1.

Tbf, Wazza absolutely spannered his last minute penalty, otherwise it would’ve made the score line more reflective.

Liverpool had some shockingly bad players in the 90s-00s. But they rarely had ones that just gave up, and especially not all XI at once.

If we can keep a clean sheet for the first 5 minutes it would be a start

Could do with Rashford pulling his finger out of his arse tonight.

1-0 inside 10 minutes. 1 just before half time. Jota with a capper before full time.

We’ll have one shot on target all game, straight at Allison.

I will be absolutely stunned by anything other than a home win. We won’t match them in a single department.

Solid start. Just keep it tight for the next 87 minutes and we'll get the draw
