The Benteke goal looked like nothing more than impressive consolation, whereas he full well knew the story of Martial and his fee and how much of a microscope he was under, hence his amazed reaction (it was a £#%&!ing good goal too).

In short, if you think he loves Arsenal or Liverpool and hates United, you're wrong. It's just that goals against United are normally a bigger story than goals United score. If you think he's a huge dick, you're correct.
Surely the "narrative" of a player dribbling from the half way line to score with 3 minutes remaining, during a title run in, is a reason to be excited (Ronaldo vs Fulham).

United slipping up in the title race is a better narrative for television than United winning I'm afraid.

You've actually written it more than anyone else at this point.

I'm sure to Tyler it felt inevitable, given the way that game had changed by that point. tbh everyone could see that goal coming, and we even added a fourth a few minutes later.

Yep, as a lot of people do, but he doesn't half take it to extremes sometimes, like the 'distasteful' episode. United played fantastic football in that match but his primary concern was that poor Arsenal's feelings might be hurt.

Would imagine tyler is a cross between john motson and partridge. A machine with asbergers. Built for one job and one job only. To help sky sports. And it's live.
