I'd rather see Schneiderlin start.

Can't believe we're going with Fellaini up front against the dippers

Let's hope Memphis puts in the same quality of crosses he did for the Dutch midweek. Fellaini could get a couple here if he does

State of that front 3
Two of them with zero mobility and pace

The fact we have to start Fellaini up front shows LvG should have signed an experienced forward player

Hopefully we have enough to nick it

Better stick our chances away because there won“t be that many. They won“t be creating many either.

Narrow win for Louis. He“ll take that.

This was always bound to happen as soon as Rooney picked up a knock. I wouldn't fancy Martial in a game like this any more than Fellaini.

It's needs must and the big £#%&!er will cause them problems and provide an outlet. It's disappointing for Rooney because his tail would have been up after last week, but let's not pretend we haven't been just as hopeless up top with him in the side.

Other than that, it's good to see our two best passers in the side and a proper back five at last. Get that £#%&!ing atmosphere going and get some movement in and around Fellaini and we should be too strong for them.

Mata and Herrera should have plenty of time on the ball. Fellaini will get two goals imo

1-1 draw. Bedlam on here and Jose Mourinho breathes a sigh of relief as Chelsea's continued abysmal form will be buried under an avalanche of anti Van Gaal headlines.

i am absolutely disgusted that we are starting a game less than 2 weeks after the transfer window shut with Fellaini as our striker...against Liverpool too

this is truly a dark day in my Manchester United history...:shakehead:

i said that having Rooney as our only striker will prove to be the demise of LvG!!

£58m on a striker and he doesnt start and Fellaini does.

LvG's 'process' and decisions on the many forwards he has let go in the last year utterly exposed in those two pieces of team news above.

Fellaini starting as a striker for Manchester United. £#%&! me.

Mental to think van Gaal has spent 260 million and he's playing Fellaini when around yes injured. At least our plan b today looks quite interesting.

You're making even less sense than usual, which is quite something.
