Think we need to get into shades of green, amber and red for a definitive list.

With that said, Schweinsteiger is about as red as it is possible to get. Ticks pretty much every box of how you'd define a terrible transfer.

I don’t know how Bruno is green.

Has even had a good game against one of the top 6?

Whatever changes to the list we’d make there’s no denying what a truly appalling record we’ve had with transfers even going back to Fergie’s final years

This is what happens when you lack a sophisticated football operation at your club

I don’t think you’ll find a worse transfer record in the history of football than last decade at Utd

He literally did. Played about 30 games in 2 seasons.

30 games over 2 seasons is £#%&! all pal. He’s was sub in a few of them too.

You liked him, I get it, he was an utterly horrendous signing that achieved nothing at all for the club.

Lost 2 league games in 18 that Schweiny started. Beat City, Liverpool, Spurs with him in the midfield: another couple of draws w/ City & Chelsea. Must've been a coincidence.

Oh for those halcyon days. Shame about the injuries but at 7 mil to make him red given what's been s****ed since
