That Martial injury has really put a bit damper on our start to the season but it’s also highlighted how threadbare we are up front

However we could still end up having a really good window
If we sign FDJ (I don’t think we will) or another top quality number 6, sign Sesko and bring in a wide right forward as backup to Sancho (Maybe Ziyech on loan) then we’ll have had a good window and provided ETH with enough squad depth for this season

Not looking good at the moment but that could easily change in a few weeks

Martial is never going to be our main man, and it's inevitable he would disappoint at some point, might as well get it out of the way early doors.

Hope this means Garnacho gets some minutes on Sunday.

Normally this would be a given regardless of his match sharpness. But after the friendly on Sunday in which he left early, there’s a case for making a point. Probably EtHs first big decision really, wrt how it could impact the club.

He is known for his discipline , you’d like to think he drops him and uses the match sharpness as a public excuse. Who knows?

Wouldn’t be surprised if Ronaldo was on the bench rashford in the Center and elanga and Sancho on either side

Manchester United players are off today, having been hauled in for an unscheduled training session on Sunday.

United manager Erik ten Hag cancelled the players' day off yesterday and put them through a punishing session at the club's Carrington training complex less than 24 hours after the 4-0 thrashing at Brentford.

Injured duo Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof were the only first-team squad members to report for treatment this morning.
