Default Logan Paul

Seen on various platforms that he had his first singles match at Summerslam last night and, by all accounts, was superb. Done a frog splash in only his second fight, according to some wrestling hacks, is something seasoned pro's don't even attempt.

Seems to be making quite the name for himself. Fair play.

How is that "frog splash" () considered hard ?

Was doing them as kids at school, just a big jump ain't it....

Always get the 'pauls' mixed up, think he's the sound one ...

Feel free to show yourself executing an ‘simple’ frog splash at a similar height?

Just seems strange pro wrestlers are feared doing them ...

The table and landing in the other guy make it easier.... Less height, more fall damage ..

It’s a finishing move a lot of the time.. generally done after someone’s had the ‘shit beaten out of them’.

It doesn’t take much skill but a bit of practice and balls are needed to pull it off well.

Don’t you start. Didn’t you get beaten up by a child in Thailand or somewhere?

Wouldn’t last a minute against our Jez.

I think we are aware it's not real.

I'm not even a fan of wrestling (I was in the attitude days) but can appreciate how well Logan Paul has made the jump into pro wrestling.

Its a decent Frog Splash, have to admit. Executed well, and its impressive athleticism for a 200+pounder.

Still a long way off from the brilliance of Rob Van Dam's Five Star Frog Splash finisher.

The one he hits at 35 seconds here, re-positioning his body in mid-flight.

Or the king of the Frog Splash, Eddie Guerrero.

Love the one he lands on Brock Lesnar at 1:30. And the one off the cage at 1:40.

RIP.

Hugely impressed by Paul.

Coming so soon after the Bad Bunny performance, they are really nailing the celeb matches - although Zayn/Jackass guys was sports entertainment gold.

What’s a common feature though?

The Miz.

One of the very best out there. Safe and experienced. The perfect guy to guide a celeb.

Anyway, back to LP…he gets it. He understands it’s a physical art performance. He will do just great.
