Holding the Sun in a picture when you're a juvenile and don't really have a clue about the world, let alone how petty and hypocritical scousers are - terrible.

Backing a racist player and booing and blaming his victim, as an adult - sound laaaah.

'It's been an amazing ride and Jurgen will rightly go down as perhaps the greatest manager we've ever had. A legendary coach and an even better human being.'

I feel like a part of me has died.

Can't get my head around this. Feel sick.

He must be ill.

This is absolutely horrific. Beyond comprehension.

No words, I am totally numb. Knew this day would come but I wasn’t prepared for this now.

I’m struggling badly mentally the last few days and just woke up to this. Really feel sick and a part of me has died.

I keep refreshing the page expecting it to not be real.

ive got tears

I didn't believe this when I first heard.  I wanted him to stay for years decades..he is the best manager we've had in my lifetime and I can't see how anyone can live up to what he's done.

Heartbroken
Quote:
Can't process this.
Quote:
Actually devastated. Don't even know what to say.

To make matters worse, I'm booked in for an overseas wedding in late May, meaning no chance of being home for the last game of the Prem or Europa Final, or any trophy parades. He'll disappear and I won't even be there to see it.
This one has done me -

Quote:
Like a sucker punch, I'm literally 45 years of age and sit working from home crying.

Respect the great mans wishes all day long but this hurts.
Quote:
No words, absolutely no words. Can't eat my breakfast now.
Quote:
The last time I felt so empty because of football was when Torres left. I told myself I wouldn't care about individuals again. Never got a player's name on the back of the kit since. This feels a million times worse. There's agony, my mind is gone. Nothing but love for Jurgen because he has been a pillar of hope for us for nearly a decade and I understand how he must be spent, I just find it impossible to accept mentally.

My eyes watered immediately. This is horrible

It’s like a competition to be most shaken by it.
