2 goals & 3 assists in his first 4 league games... if he doesn't go to Real today we should be back in January. We also need to find someone to sit in front of the defence to allow both him & Pogba to get forward, whether that is a Carrick or a Kante is up for debate - probably need a Kante to put out fires more than we need a passer, especially with how poor Shaw has been.

I'd be looking at replacing Shaw next Summer, the positionally poor bastard that he is.

Given the circus Sporting are (just sacked the coach) it says a lot about Fernandes that he's been so consistent when every other player has struggled. The start of this season suggests it'll be the same again this year. He's obviously got great focus and a high bottom level.

Back to Fernandes, should have signed him this Summer. Think it's been said recently he'll (definitely) move next Summer and I'm sure United will have a bloody good look.

i think the thing is he looked neat and tidy in italy and did £#%&! all...then moved to portugal and became a goal machine.

From what I've seen he's a more mobile and quicker mata, we should've taken the chance.
