Default Woodward is a curse on our club

List of his mistakes simply too long.

It will take us years to recover from his reign imo.

From the "we dont need to win trophies to be relevant stuff" to turning off klopp during a job interview by making us sound like £#%&!ing disneyland. Today we see the problems in defence. Two of those guys were handed 5 year deals without the say so of our manager......

At no other club in Europe would someone in his position keep his job after presiding over such a disastrous period
However we’re not run like a football club so football results aren’t what he’s judged on

There's nobody else at the club who's got any idea either. We wanted to get him a football adviser of some sort last year but Mou Mou wasn't having it. There's forever talk we're about to get a technical director and it never happens, they're clearly aware they need one but it's easier said than done.

LVG got it right...

"Unfortunately, we are talking about a commercial club, not a football club. I spoke to Ferguson about this and in his last years, he also had problems with it."

Exactly. Giving Jones, Smalling and Young new contracts tells you everything you need to know about United. No ambition to be the best.

He is definitely part of the problem, clueless glory hunting @#%&!. Still, he will probably announce a few more business partners soon.

If the Glazer's had structured the club differently with Woodward solely responsible for the business side we would be lauding him as the best thing in a suit and panicking that Madrid were going to lure him away.

He's brilliant at what he does well.

Very true tbf.

We've seen, at big continental clubs, ex players with some actual clout get binned off from executive roles after showing incompetence.

Unfortunately, United were a club awfully prepared for Fergie's departure. Not a single clue.

This year will be the 4th out of 6 years since Fergie left that we fail to make the top 4.

That is truly alarming and at the same time unforgivable.

Anyone else would be sacked for producing such awful results.

This is a good point.

Who knows, without Woodward maybe we wouldn’t have had any money to buy any players for the last few years. Sure, he could have increased the bank loans and rolled the dice with the stakes even higher. Would that make him a better CEO? No.

A few quotes out of context and extensions for squad players are not the reason we lost against Wolves. It happens, it’s not the end of the world.
