Don't get me wrong, not saying it's some rapid change and, as I suspect you know, I ain't no Magure fan.... but he always been ok and there's been a few signs that we're seeing a bit more from him recently. We've kept back to back clean sheets, he's chipped in with a couple of goals. Steady improvement.

I think because of his experience and quite calm personality, we've all just sort of expected him to slot in, forgetting he's a 26 year old guy who has sky rocketed from sheffield United to hull to Leicester and to the world's most expensive defender and United's captain in a short spell.

He deserves a bit of leeway in that sense.

He was good last night. Didn’t see Wolves, Tranmere doesn’t count and I was at Burnley

Hope he keeps improving.

Tbf, Maguire isn't doing all the defending on his own, whereas Martial appears to be expected to do all the attacking on his own.

If teams played with four strikers, that would be an excellent comparison.

He tends to have 4 players supporting him at present, while Martial has a woefully out of form Daniel James. It's a tough gig.

Good header of the ball, decent defender, good personality to have in the team. But we all knew that already (well the sane ones knew)

He is proving to be a good signing

Captain Mags has been a rock at a difficult time and he's put loads of top performances in. Also a big part of a defence that’s kept the 2nd? Highest number of clean sheets in Europe’s top leagues.
