Under achievers

We have portrayed Louis Van Gaal as a tactical genius and coaching master. The United squad is full of under achievers IMO. Who can Van Gaal mould and who is a lost cause?

Rafael - Brilliant during 2012/13 but back to his inconsistent bad decision making ways last season along with constant injuries.

Smalling - Great athlete and all the attributes to make a top CB, confidence shot to bits though through the stick he has got mainly when at RB though.

Jones - IMO could and should go on to become a truly great CB and future United captain, injuries and versatility are killing his progress.

Buttner - Never shown much, never really given much chance, has done ok in the odd game.

Cleverly - The Brand has his own section of haters, performance level dropped massively this season, needs to find his game and work out just what he is. Has no 'strong point' to his game IMO.

Kagawa - Loved by many but failed to perform so many times. Brilliant when he is on his game though.

Nani - All the makings of a world class player IMO but is the very definition of the word inconsistent.

Valencia - For a couple of years he was brilliant, quick, powerful, direct and had good end product, that is all gone now, rarely attempts to take on his man and his crossing is awful.

Young - For about 6 months he looked the part, good crosser, scored some screamers, linked up well. Must be the most disliked player in the squad now, still scores the odd screamer and can deliver a decent cross but more often than not he is anonymous.

Fellaini - where to start? poor technique, weakest big man ever, nothing good about him last season.

Zaha - Young player with promise, big price tag, never got a chance last season but showed nothing at Cadiff either.

Bebe - Dodgy brown envelope signing? Showed raw talent when signed but nothing else, looked better in Portugal.

Wellbeck - Nobody divides opinion quite like him, its all there, just needs someone to show him how to use it.
