Under better circumstances he may have been but I think after the first 3 performances Ole might just throw him in, with Cavani and I also think De Beek will be in now.

That's the only positive from Sunday, he might mix it up. I know they get stick but The Scottish Player or Fred have to start imo.

True.

As crap as the defence has been, there's no many options other than like for like disappointments, but we have a real challenge in finding the balance in midfield.

We keep getting overrun. The Pogba experiment is failing badly and we need to start putting the balance of the midfield ahead of cramming individuals in.

Pogba has to go. At least from that deep position. He's a liability there and it puts too much pressure on Matic, who is the only one capable of reading the game properly. We need the energy and bite of The Scottish Player or Fred in there. It's a must now, IMO. Van De beek needs to start games. He brings an intelligence on the ball and gives it away far less than Fernandes.

I think Matic, Fred/The Scottish Player and VDB gives us a good balance and a proper platform to give that shakey backline some help and allow the front lot some freedom.

We've then got options to change at either end of that with The Scottish Player and Fred coming in for the other. Pogba in an advanced role and a striking option in Cavani.

Right now, we seems more intent on getting our best players all out at the same time, but it's badly affecting the balance. Team first and stop indulging individuals.

Changing to a 5 might be an option too. Even if it's just temporary to stop the bleeding and allow the defence to gain some confidence. It might mean compromising some attacking flair, but the immediate issue now is the conceding of goals. I'm sure we'd all take an ugly 1-0 right now.

Totally agree on McT and Fred being in there. But again, it's way too obvious to make sense for us.

I think he will too. And if he does, then the £#%&! ups are more on him than Pogba.

I don't think he change much bar a couple of like for like changes.
