It's exercise with more than two people.

It's gatherings of people (albeit playing a game).

Social distancing won't be applied.

£#%&! off.

no chance this goes ahead. the police wouldn't allow it as you'd still get thousands of fans trying to get near the ground.
I don't think that Juve are 25 points ahead are they ?

I think they're just trying to wum Liverpool.

Edit: One point ahead of Lazio. Good wum though

Sky sports says nahhh ...

Corona can cause perma lung damage...

English football's plan to complete the season has suffered a fresh blow after it emerged players face being uninsured if their careers are ended because of the coronavirus.

A host of players who have sought clarification as to whether they would be protected if contracting the virus meant they were forced to stop playing.

And players are being advised they would not be covered if infection leads to them having to end their careers prematurely because the coronavirus is not listed as a critical illness.

Well except they've won it a few times in the last 30 years

Depending on how long this goes on for can see some players been effected by this in the long run.

I know you don't just 'lose it' but no competitive football, not even in training for months on end cannot be good.

Fully expect half the united team to come back fat as £#%&! and unable to pass a ball. Bruno will probably forget how to play and Rashford will lose his pace.

Even when all this does blow over they would surely need a month or so of training together to regain match fitness. Another reason why the league should not restart.

You cant just say right, you can all leave your houses now we have spurs tomorrow.

Exactly. 3 weeks minimum to get back into shape.

Then they're going to play for 2 months to finish the season. They'll then need another 2 months for pre-season and 2020/21 can't overrun because of the euros.

Unfortunately it's looking more and more likely they'll just have to scrap this season. Gutted.

I read that 20% of the players across the top 5 leagues in Europe will be out of contract on July 1st. Teams can't just extend them because some players already have agreements in place to move clubs. For example Hakim Ziyech is supposed to join Chelsea on July 1st. His Chelsea contract is worth 3x more than his Ajax one. If UEFA dictate that player contracts have to be extended to complete the season, he's going to be massively out of pocket and could sue.

It's a huge £#%&!ing mess. The only way to resolve it is to just scrap the season. As others have said, it'd have been done ages ago if anyone but the dippers were top. It's really £#%&!ing tough luck for them but they're running out of alternatives.
