It's the greatest spectacle in world football. The Cruziero fans will be insane next week as well.

Estudiantes should have capitalized on those early chances. The Brazilians are going to score here I think. Good match so far...

Was a phenomenal reception. Excellent match too, at least thus far. Estudiantes have dominated the game, completely controlling the midfield, and should have scored at least one goal from the chances that they've created. Gata Fernandez is giving Cruzeiro a lot of problems with his movement to the wings and off the shoulder of their defence. Seba at his imperious best - some of his passes and short lay-offs under pressure have been absolutely superb.

Cruzeiro are just sitting deep and trying to play on the counter, utilising the pace and mobility of their midfield. Hasn't really worked though, as the rat stabbers have been able to break up their attacks close to their inception (albeit quite often with the use of the tactical foul). They really need to pass the ball a bit more from the back and spread the ball from the centre a bit later, instead of initiating all their attacks down the flanks.

A couple of good saves there at the start of the second half, though both of them were at good heights for the keeper, and you'd expect him to keep them out.

Not such a good second half. Too many fouls and stoppages. An intelligent match in the end by Cruzeiro though. They were lucky not to concede in the first half, but they looked much more comfortable in the second, increasingly so as the match progressed. Estudiantes clearly ran out of steam around the 70 minute mark or so, I would imagine in part as a result of the intensity of their first half performance, and began struggling in the transition phases and gave the ball away sloppily on a number of occassions. This allowed to Cruzeiro to take advantage of their superior physical ability, pressing more aggressively, stealing possession in the midfield, and then allowing them to obtain much better tactical situations in their counter-attacks. A couple of great opportunities for them to score as the match drew to a close.

Will be extremely difficult for Estudiantes now in Bello Horizonte. They really needed at least one goal to take to Brazil. Should still be a great match though. Cruzeiro will be much more positive, that's for sure...
