Final picture looks like they've miniaturised Dana White then left him to rot in a trailer park for 6 months before plonking him a suit.

You were one of the most god-gifted athletes in human history Roo. Why did you do this to yourself.

Some people have that sudden onset of ageing in their 30s but then look the exact same for another 30 years.

Guarantee Ronaldo looks like Cliff Richard in 20 years time.

Right - 2 other players of unfathomable nigh unequalled natural talent who were both finished by age 30 and onto an admirable spiral of booze and drugs.

Whatever else can be said of the "good-looking strawberry", he has rung every last ounce of talent & longevity from his situation. Superhumanly driven & focused. In that respect the most admirable player of his generation / all time. Probably what makes his final unseemly end being shackled by Cypriot farmers so galling.

Who gives a shit. Lived a regimented lifestyle for the best part of two decades while he was being one of the best in the world. I'd be Southall size within a month if I had to live like he did for that long.

Fair enough, but give me a R9, Batistuta, Maradona or George Best over Ronaldo or Messi every day.

I've always said in terms of pure physical attributes, Ronnie is probably the best player i'll ever see. In the same way that Messi is probably the most technically gifted. But they're both insufferable, boring #@&%!s. I prefer my players with a little more personality.

the fact he lasted this long before it being alarmingly noticeable, defies nearly everybody’s predication for what would happen when he stopped running every day.
