Nothing really against him, despite the early media agenda, hopefully the 'extended break' has brought him down to earth a bit.... how good would it be if he lived up the promise

76% of premier league players don't train outside the clubs regime...

When I was at Reading, I lived half a mile from the training ground. Each day, I would get in my car, which was of the required status for a Premier League footballer, and drive 800 yards to the training ground.

I wasn't being flash, I just felt I had to rest. My life was dedicated to rest and then more rest. I would never go out and when I say 'go out', I don't mean a night out, I mean out. I never left the house. All I did was train and rest, train and rest.

He put in the best individual performance from a United player since Ronaldo.

The lad is talented but contrary to his public image I don't think he has a high level of self-belief. He needs someone to gee him up and mentor his development which hasn't happened.

Must be something to it. The enormity of being a pro at a top club is beyond words these days and no doubt comes with a load of unique pressures that they can never prepare for. Really hope he turns it around, him, Martial and Rashers would be ridiculous for the next ? years.

Big mike ? Whip ?

Reckon he'd leather you...

As buck said....his performance against midgetland and his brace early on is up there with the Ronaldinho debut...probably one of the true shining performances of the last few years.
He absolutely reeks of talent....

It's all in the head now and if he'll be given that chance...

Unleash him and watch him slay a tiger
