The problem is, is that the promise that was being shown in the last couple of seasons came with the caveat that although he may be utterly shit on the ball, he could still improve. Thought he played fairly well against Leeds, but has been shite in the past four games. It's his third season now and I've not seen anything close to the sort of improvement required from him on the ball. I'm like Neo, I've been hoping that he'd come good and show some real consistent improvement. But at this point he looks so far off the level required in a top attacking wing back that persisting with him is just going to do more harm than good. |
