Speaks volumes for Rashford’s form that we’re throwing a Lingard Hail Mary at this one.

AWB back too and no Varane.

Horrible line up.

Is Cavani having another holiday?

Leeds XI: Meslier, Ayling, Llorente, Struijk, Dallas, Koch, Klich, Forshaw, Rodrigo, Harrison, James.

Subs: Klaesson, Firpo, Raphinha, Roberts, Bate, Gelhardt, Cresswell, Shackleton, Kenneh.

Maguire to make Dan James look like peak George Best

Cavani is more like a “guest star” of this season. Like Paul Rudd in Friends. Turns up for a third of the episodes but hes always memorable for his lack of chemistry with Ross/Ronaldo.

That’s the only logic I can see you n it, but James has been playing quite centrally

Tbf Dalot is a bit shit, I imagine they’ve been doing some work on AWB in the hope that he can ditch his horror form of this season and come back and take the spot back.

Lingard is an odd one, done nothing to suggest he’s worth any minutes at any point since About September tbh.

A proper Tombola team.

Not used to that as Ole hated a change.

Thought it was a sensible pick until I noted AWB is back Although Dalot is only a minor improvement tbf.

Lingard I get. He's not great but I'll take his effort over Rashford, and I think Elanga needs time to get better. Wasn't a great showing against Brighton.

If you match Leeds for energy, they don't seem to have any coherent tactics. So the better players should get the win. (Lets be honest of our last 5 decent performances, Leeds feature twice)

2-1 leeds

Hmmm… I think that’s very optimistic re AWB, but hope springs eternal.

Lingard smacks off a wild punt because nobody else can be trusted. Ridiculous that we were lauding our attacking options pre season and now we’re throwing Jesse £#%&!ing Lingard in at an away at Leeds.

Just win. I’ve written off this season, so let’s make sure we get some nice moments and winning there in front of fans for the first time in 20 years would certainly be one of them.

And we should win. We’ve played some good stuff in recent away games and Leeds, for all their bluster, are shit.

I like the side. Few players with something to prove.

I think we’ll dick them by 3 or 4

Think we'll see a fair bit of Lingard in the next few months, similar to how James was used in the games where Ole felt we needed "legs" in there.

Rashford to score the winner 0-1.
