£30m is what they are paying to Dortmund this year, would have been £300m if it was us.

Any odds on an Etihad or related Dubai company shirt sponsor for Dortmund in the next couple of years?

They just had to meet a release clause didn’t they? If so anybody could have made the same bid. Shows everyone knew where he was going in any event.

The release clause is only the tip of the iceberg with this deal though, which is why Real Madrid told them to do one.

another 50 odd million in agents fees and 400k a week wages.

Dortmund are no better as a team than when he signed and there’s been a succession of players who have looked mint in the Bundesliga and not pulled up any trees playing here.

Watched a lot of the Bundesliga and this is what I'm clinging on to. On his day he rips the place up and defenders are terrified off him. Gets assists as well as goals. But he's had a lot of injuries for a young lad, and always looks off the pace when he returns from them. In reality we all know he'll become superman

Tbf Gundogan was a fat injury prone mess before he signed for City and as soon as Peps Dr’s got a hold of him he’s been pretty much injury free the last couple of years.
