Genuine question. Do you bother to watch Football at all? Is James now the marker for any player that isn't a superstar?

Should be the marker for any player that shouldn't be a professional tbh.

Awful, terrible player.

Technically a very good player that can play on the right or central so would be good cover for Bruno. If we can get him for 20-30m then he’d be worth a punt imo, obviously the injury he had will be a concern though.

Means one of Peirera or Jesse can go too so I’m all for it.

If Ake is going for £40m, then £30m sounds about right for someone with less experience, less of the finished article.

If we can ditch Lingard and Perreria and get more than £22.99 for them, his wages won't be anywhere near their's combined, then this could be a nice bit of fairly low-risk business.

On the other hand, he's probably the Sancho alternative.

Couldn't give a £#%&! if he's a Sancho alternative at this point. That transfer can get in the bin. Use the pathetic funds wisely.

He’s similar to Grealish in the way he plays. He’s just as good imo and will be half the price, plus he’s a red. He’s much better than Lingard, Andy P and 10 times the player Dan James is. Would instantly be one of the best technical players we have in the squad if we signed him.

No he’s the marker of somebody who isn’t good enough to play for United. He’s shit.

They’re good enough for squad depth and still youngish. They’re the type of players who would excel with better players around them than at Villa and Bournemouth
