Tragic the way it ended

If that was the one where they were supported by King of the Slums, then yes that were absolutely at their pinnacle then..

An absolute blinding gig.

Blackpool wasn't long after, good day out and general feel of well-being, but they weren't anywhere near as good.. followed not long after by Spike Island.. which was utter shit.. ( and self-indulgent shit on Squires' part ) which reminds me, I must pop over to the worst gig thread before I forget..

I shall return.

Think they were mate. KOTS seemed to support everyone I saw around that time...them or Dub Sex. It was filmd for 'SnubTV' and I got meself on telly.

Ive seen the Roses nearly 30 times and they were never as good as they were that night.

He was. Saw him in the MDH 3 times within the space of about 18 months.

The first one was the most memorable. 600/700 people rammed in and there was absolute silence. Never seen or heard anything like it at a gig, you literally had to place your can on the floor as dropping it would have spoilt the mood. Mad.
