Yes

Apparently made demands about where he plays and how often, so probably a bullet dodged.

We forget that the onus has shifted with our recruitment to making sure we’re getting the right character, attitude and personality as much as the right player. Probably not a bad thing.

Wait for Saul to have a solid game against £#%&!ing Brighton or someone and all the press to declare him the missing piece of the jigsaw.

I still can’t get my head around the Lukaku fawning.

Yep. This is the price we pay. You could see a shift when we didn’t get Dbayla.

If this is a shift in policy it is welcome, we've been stung too many times with the likes of Di Maria, Sanchez, Schweinsteiger etc etc .

Yep we all want to see reinforcements but if we are holding out for the right characters who want to be at the club and not for a pay day that is a step in the right direction, and if that means we have to wait a bit longer to get the right player then so be it

Falcao joining newly promoted La Liga side Rayo Vallecano late in the day. Can't believe it was seven years ago when he came here on deadline day and all the excitement that came with it. Where has the time gone...

We shouldn't be waiting five year for a defensive midfielder. It's getting beyond a joke, right player or not.

Cycles though innit. Definite payback for having that druggy dwarf lead them to every title under the sun for the past decade or so.

Still scoring well above 1 in every 2 games since he left Chelsea tbf.

Might end playing for that load of shite he's signed for though.

Except that even then, some of those things didn't actually happen?

There are reasons why such measures are talked about a lot more than they are actually ever done.
