Club confirms it’s him and then an interim:

'Michael Carrick will now take charge of the team for forthcoming games, while the club looks to appoint an interim Manager to the end of the season.'

I’ll take his gormless mush for a week or so if we get an experienced interim (Thor, Blanc) and then take some proper time to get a successor.

Provided we don’t do anything daft like give it to Carrick full time, then this will be the longest time we’ve actually had to consider a permanent manager.

Would've preferred they left an empty seat for a couple of games, but I hope he enjoys sitting closer to the iPad.
