Just caught the last half hour of Boca-River. Pretty poor game tbh, sorry Quayders but there doesn't seem much point without the crowd.

His achievement at Spurs was to take a joke club with mostly average players and a minimal budget and have them punching way above their weight. No guarantee he could have translated that success at a bigger club but had earnt the opportunity to do so.

Posta amigo. Boca are on a hiding to nothing, Gallardo is the best manager in River's history and wisely turned down the Barca gig last year. The country is on it's arse and any player remotely talented leaves as a teenager.

Pochettino had Spurs flying for a few years. I feel like his final year rewrote a bit of that history for many.

I think they were great up until Dembele went on the wane. Kane is an utter machine and does some wonderful stuff but Dembele was what made them click as a team and they’ve never replaced him. I think even Pochettino called him one of the best in the world iirc. Would have loved him here.
