His value will plummet if he’s still here next season, given he’ll be a year further into his contract, and will barely play given how much Ole hates him. Needs to be £#%&!ed off ASAP, but United are well within their rights to ask for a fair price in this market. £70m is more than fair given he’s a proven international goalscorer at the top level in his prime years. Something like £50m + £20m add-ons, seems fair for everyone. |

He's reportedly on about £200k per week, let's give it the benefit of the doubt and say he's on £150k instead. We'll be paying about £7.8million in the next year for a player we don't want, and who doesn't want to be here, just so we can sell him for much less than we're being offered next year.
