This wilful conflation of poverty definitions does no-one any good, there are different solutions for different variants of poverty. There were a couple of threads on here a while back about it and basically anyone who didn't band poverty as a catch-all problem was a cunt. Quite what the homeless make of being banded in with those who could only afford one holiday to Benidorm is anyones guess.

Loss of access to cheap and plentiful tradesmen is one of the huge downsides to Brexit.

Loss of potentially millions of unskilled EU workers is even more of a disaster for the average wealthy pensioner on a fixed income. They have been acting as a huge downward force on wage inflation and consequently wider inflation which is the enemy of anyone with wealth.

Stuart Rose was daft enough to publicly acknowledge this when he was chair of Remain when he warned wages would rise post-Brexit.
