He didn't have a bad start at Boro either, everybody thought he would be a natural manager.

And yet, in hindsight, his qualities were clear.

Fergie always said how good he was at reading games from the bench . Where others waited to come on, he would watch the game to see how he could influence it.

He was an intelligent player, an intelligent man. A selfless player and he has had a connection with the club and his managerial experience to call on.

He's been away long enough that he hasn't engaged in any criticism of United in the media as a pundit.

Squad management will be a piece of piss too.

I see your point, Neymar. But I too was once a sub, they sing songs about me now. Oh and I'm managing the club.

'Ok, gaffer'.

Presumably he'll tell Molde and we'll pay them off, and they'll announce an appointment, so we'll have to announce.

Good point.

Does it really matter when it's announced?

It doesn't really change anything.

Love Ole and the last 8 weeks have been great, but I don’t see what we’d gain by making a decision on this so soon tbh? We’re playing well, winning games and improving every week, so why not let it play out until the end of the season before making a decision?

Unless of course we’ve targeted players we want in the summer and we’re worried that they might be put off because of no permanent manager in charge?

Contracts for players like Degea?
New players.
New/current sponsors ( yes, thats how woody would think )

Basically, not a lot from this season would improve but next season maybe.

It's obviously happening, just get it tweeted

We can't wait until the end of the season.

We need to make making moves on a manager now if it isn't to be Ole.

Presumably they've seen enough in his approach to suggest that the next few games won't tell us anything we don't already know.

this is a massive job, on a level that he doesn't have previous experience in.

but just look at how he's handling it compared to moyes who was in a similar boat.
