It will just make it sweeter when we defeat them. The league titles of 2007 and 2013 were sweet because people didnt think we'd match Chelsea or City again.

We have a winner of a coach. Who came into a very bad situation, let him do some more clean up and you'll see a very special team soon enough.

Jose on the other hand should £#%&!ing well coach Jones and Smalling into being top class centre backs and not a pair of error prone clowns. He should coach all of the rubbish players Van Gaal bought into being world class and do it without half the players he bought himself who are injured or suspended all the time.

So whilst Jose won two trophies with a far inferior squad, that's all forgotten about because his nemesis can buy whoever he wants whenever he wants.
Correct. A manager might reasonably be expected to coach players to improve, but he’ll never make a 5/10 into an 8/10. Smalling’s technique on the ball, for example, is appalling. Only Smalling can change that, not Mourinho. Same for Lukaku’s touch, Martial’s effort etc etc.

Van Dijk and Stones as a partnership? Wow. Easily the two best ball-playing centre backs in the league, and arguably Europe.

The haters on here will sneer all they want, but Guardiola has a fantastic outlook when it comes to style of play, and the courage to implement it.

We £#%&!ed up royally by not hiring him; it's as simple as that.

For the 457th time - he never wanted to join us post-SAF as it would actually have been a real challenge for him.

Get out of his arse FFS

And perhaps more importantly he would not have endless funds to rebuild

I don't doubt that but with Pep spending £400m in 2 seasons - Utd's spend is undoubtably inflated because they have had 3 different managers who want to bring their own in and Jose allegedly not being able to sign Perisic etc it sort of proves the point.
Pep "best coach in the world" has spent a Billion hasn't he as a manager (sure I read that somewhere)

Yeah Guardiola has a fantastic outlook...

Spending £110m on two of the best ball playing centre backs in the league...

Fantastic.

Pep has spent almost twice as much since they both took over United and City

Sad to see a United fan always be ever ready to snipe at his club's manager.

Did Mou spend a lot at Inter? Porto?

Can he be blamed for Chelsea blowing crazy wads on players he never even wanted?

Exactly

He'd never have taken the United job, not a chance...

Things weren't in place for him and he didn't have an unlimited budget to overhaul the squad we had at the time.
