Wenger off ?
Wright said: 'I was with the boss [Wenger] last night and if I'm going to be totally honest, I get the impression that I think that's it, I genuinely believe that.
'I was with him for a few hours last night, we were talking and obviously he didn't say to me 'I'm leaving at the end of the season'. I just get the impression, looking at him that that's it, I think that's it. 'He actually mentioned to me that he's coming to the end. I've never heard him say that.' 'He looked tired,' Wright added. 'He looks winded like someone's just whopped him in the stomach. He's lost all his wind. I feel, if someone was to ask me if he'll leave at the end of the season, I think he will.' |

Clearly orchestrated PR to counter the talk of him signing an extension, but it'll be interesting to see what happens there post-Wenger.
Few Arsenal fans I know reckon they will go pure budget option with Wenger's approval. Either an ex-player or a gamble on one of the young Bundesliga managers. United went from champions to 7th after our handover; would you trust Arsenal to get it right? |
