Absolute lies. Only Pope has more clean sheets.

It's still too early to tell. It's a big jump to go from top 4 to competing for a title. It's a further mamouth leap to actually win the league.

The early signs are very good.

That’s the defence, not Dave.

So what do you measure a striker on, goals scored by him or the team?

Erik worked out after the first 2 games the ball needs to be kept as far away from de gea as possible at all times, with Varane and Martinez it has been possible in the main and goals conceded in those games reflects that, take Varane out and goals concede goes through the roof.

No Varane last night, clean sheet, some great work by De Gea.

Erik worked out after the first few games that we needed a proper midfield. We signed Casemiro and the season has turned itself around since then and since players started doing as they're told.

Keep deflecting from your lies about goalkeeper stats though.

Last night, against the worst team in the league, he made 4 absolutely run of the mill saves that had he conceded he’d have got ruined for. The defence without Varane was sufficiently porous to allow the worst team in the league 4 decent opportunities they did nothing with.

There’s no lies.

People need to stop clinging to this £#%&!er. He does the minimum. No more.

There's no truth either.

De Gea has clearly improved. I was in shock when he came off his line at one point last night. Still not used to it.

Nowhere have I said he hasn’t improved. He’s now average

Bottom 3 keeper in the league last season IIRC.

Was it you who complained about people singling out Antony for criticism? That they had an agenda?

Possibly the most ironic thing that’s ever been said on here…

Antony has played 10 games, this guy has been shit for 5 years

Come on man, you’re better than that.

He's the same or he's improved?

His positioning has improved, he’s more positive, the rest remains the same. Villa’s first goal, for instance. Fortunately the defence is ensuring there are fewer opportunities like that.

You all know I’m right deep down, you’re all tearing him like an arthritic dog that still occasionally get the zoomies and it reminds you of the good days and you can’t help but say ‘good dog’. You just don’t like it because I go on about it, and it’s me

Erik would’ve replaced him by now if he could and will replace him at the earliest opportunity.
