just wondering why they arent all playing top flight football anymore.

andy cole has numerous league titles, he should be starting for chelsea imo.

A poorly disguised way of Violater saying Scholes and Giggs should be dropped.

Scholes and Giggsy are 32 and 33 respectively. Neither are ready for the scrap heap just yet.

I may not start both week in week out, but I'd rather have one of them coming off the bench than O'Shea, Fletcher or Eages.

id rather play gibson or fletcher tbh.

starting them is like giving long term assignments to temporary staff.

how many of giggs age mates are still starting for big clubs in the premiership??

watch a video from 97.. does it not worry you the same two still start for us and we are supposed to be an ambitious club??
where are the players that played the '97 games for our rivals...

and then we have forumistas saying how "its not that bad a performance baring in mind we have people like ole out injured..."

ole?
id take most strikers in the premiership over ole.

Gibson hardly shone at Antwerp but from what I understand had a few off field problems. Borderline headcase. I like the lad though, looks a good long term prospect.

As for Fletcher, sorry wouldn't start him a two man midfield and if we were picking a three man midfield I'd have Anderson over him everytime. Wouldn't be upset if he was sold.

We will need Giggs and Scholes this season, whether you like it or not.

not at all.

giggs and scholes should not be starting games as both are damaging the team.

what is giggs now a winger or 2nd striker.
because he seems to now take a position out wide but try and beat a full back. while doing this he isnt much support to the striker he is supposed to be supporting.

with two other cm's on the pitch why is scholes so deep. he has never been effective or that good playing from deep. while carrick is being forced to play futher forward because scholes is playing deep. so in one persons actions we are not getting the better out of carrick or scholes...

sense will filter through to some of your heads in by about january. its took a long time for most to realise the truth regarding ruud as they couldnt see past him being the greatest goal scorer we have ever had.
