Football Your Favourite Ever United Goal

Pick one and only one. Multiple shouts in the same post deserve bad rep.

A goal that you just love watching time and time again, that always puts a smile on your face.

For me, its Eric's volley against Wimbledon in the 1994 FA Cup. Loved this team, loved that kit, and this match and goal typified United at the time.

The first touch is just sumptuous, the way he collects the free ball, and flicks it into the air like a tennis player tossing the ball before a serve, then the footwork and body movement to get into position for the volley before the ball even bounces, followed by the ridiculous strike, straight into the top corner, with piercing accuracy, dip, swerve and power.

As Andy Gray says: "it's all about the magic of Eric Cantona".

So difficult but it’s got to be this one for me

The argument with the ref and then the anger afterwards

Summed Rooney up at the time, just pure power and explosiveness! This is my favourite version of Wayne

Not sure why the only copy I can find was filmed on a potato but just look at that for a first time finish

Away at West Ham, the nonchalance

Steve Bruce. Either one.

The refereeing injury that gave birth to Fergie-time and changed everything.

I absolutely love this. Vital goal, injury time, crowd going apeshit, the scorer and the utterly ridiculous looking celebration from the man himself...

Everything about this.

Giggs with a lovely pass
Eric with skill
Becks with a lovely cross
Butt with a perfect header

Anybody going to dare post the 96th minute winner against the berts at OT?

Why the £#%&! did it have to be him? It could have been beautiful

Assumed it was clear from the below:

However, appreciate if its ambiguous, so for clarity:

Favourite = The goal that you're most fond of, one that warms your heart and brings a joy every time you see it. A goal that encapsulates your feelings of being a Red.

Best = The most impressive.

N.B. - Favourite and Best can be the same goal in many instances.

Technically nothing but given the situation, the venue, the rivals and what was at stake…

*technical clarification, per Jim White's excellent book this was actually the unofficial start of outright ABUism (Sheffield United/Galatasaray)

So many to choose from but for my money it's the one in the OP, not seen anyone do that to a ball before or since.
