Again, running about. No one has ever questioned that he runs about, but what’s the point of off the ball running if that’s all it is? We can do better, and we don’t even have to buy to accomplish it.

Using that logic no academy prospect ever gets a run out.

Other option is Sanchez. I'd rather have puressence out there than the dog creep.

Mate, I'm agreeing with you. He does SOME stuff well. It's not just 'running about'. He times his runs well, he is capable of the worldie, he can run the ball, particularly on counters.

His passing, crossing and finishing are all average and he is one of physically weakest players I've ever seen.

He's ok and ok isn't good enough.

He sat on that too long tonight.

Appreciate that it’s a bit of a poker game holding back on the subs if you’re anticipating potential extra time. But the game was rapidly slipping out of control and he didn’t do anything to stop it.

More proactive response required.

I like his understated honesty in the post match pressers
No drama or agendas, just an honest assessment of the match

If Martial is for sale every big club in Europe will be interested. Ditto Pogba.
NFL franchises could be interested as far as I care tbh.

If they’re not performing to level they should be and being lazy petulant children on the pitch then they can £#%&! off, just like anyone else in the squad.

yeah i hated that incident where martial got booked when he petulantly went in two footed after losing the ball.

Oh no, that was the hero of england did that.

The occasional good moment doesn’t make him the second best player in the squad. Second most talented maybe, but his attitude is £#%&!.

He should be the best. He should be skinning the full back every game, all game. He’s nowhere near.

No player ever has managed that. Good to see there's no unrealistic expectations or anything.

Nice swerve, but stripped of its slight hyperbole the point made is still valid.

How about some footballing ambition in a summer where city had walked the league and Liverpool got to the European cup final. Either back him in the summer or sack him before the summer and back the replacement manager. United gave us the worse of both worlds and we’re left with city and Liverpool fighting it out for the big prizes.

If city’s owners took the same attitude, city wouldn’t be where they are now, given the players guardiola signed and then wanted to replace the following summer.
