Tyrone Mings went for £26m.... the market is mental, Rojo’s an international & has played at a far higher level. It’s a batshit market.

Rojo is toss though tbf.

According to Shaw, Rojo is the one player people are scared of in training.

I think that's a good influence to have around the club.

I also think he plays well when he gets a run of games.

A buying club needs to consider the total cost which I suppose includes transfer fee, wages less likely sell on value and possibly the value of a higher league position.

If Rojo is on £165k a week and Mings on £65k a week, the over 4 years the wage cost is £20m higher for Rojo. Sell on value is affected by his wages too. Rojo not worth more than £5m in transfer market I would say.

It depends why they're scared. If they're scared he's a clumsy idiot who is going to injure them then i don't see the benefit. If they see him as a Keane like figure who will dig them out when standards drop then it's a great thing.

My money is on the former.

So players openly talk about their wages? I'm quite surprised, seems very uncouth.

Hope he stays. Would much rather get rid of the other two @#%&!s.

Personality counts for a lot.

Didn’t he beat the shit out of someone with ashtray back in Argentina a few years ago?

Honestly don’t know if that’s true, but seem to remember it being reported when we signed him?

No. We were only prepared to let him go permanently while Everton only wanted him on loan.
