Correct. He actually hindered us and Saha ended up being dropped despite us being a far more mobile side with Saha up front.

I mean, ultimately he only played a handful of games for us so I think both the pro and anti cases are a tad exaggerated. Tho he maybe did have a bit of an adverse effect on Saha, sadly.

Which also doesn't exactly reflect well on Saha's mentality to play for United.

Larsson overall imo was decent. Could have done with a few more goals and was poor at Anfield but as you say, people love to go overboard on either side of the argument. The fact he was a Celtic legend doesn't go down well in forum land either so he had that going against him from the get go Maybe if he was a Fiorentina legend say he might be remembered more " "

Didnt Saha score once post new year ?

A mental weakling and physically brittle. He couldn't be relied upon. A shame as he had qualities that could have made him amongst the leagues best.

Completely forget he played for us in 07/08 when we did the double.

Class striker on his day, injuries completely ruined him mentally.

Start of 06 until his bottle at Celtic Park he probably had the biggest impact on our style of play. Dont think we've played as good as football since tbh

That penalty at Celtic FFS, it didn't ultimately matter of course but still pretty hard to forgive nqat.

Saw Scholes comment that Cavani should be on loan, not given a two year deal.

How the £#%&! do you loan a free agent

he's on a one year deal with an option for a second year....so in essence it's a "loan"

Anyone know why he has to quarantine for so long, yet players are playing internationals and will be in action at the weekend?

It’s in no way a loan. Scholesy talks a lot of shit these days unfortunately.

Some day someone will realise that being a top player in no way guarantees either top management or top punditry.
