He’s clearly not up to speed, fairly straightforward imo

We need him today, but will see at what point ...

Maybe it's a translation thing ...

He's our best CB, we need him from the start....

Just means if we’re chasing he comes on and Shaw goes LB, if we’re in front he comes on as an extra CB. He must think he’s got a good 30 minutes in him

Just don’t make it easy for them, make them work for everything. Too often in recent years we’ve gifted in the impetus in these big games and given them an early goal or a stupid goal. None of that shit today

Atmosphere looks electric. It’s not even full. Let’s get at these bastards! Sounds like one of those games where the fans will act as a “12th” player. It’s what we need. Early challenges, fight, Get in their face and control the tempo/narrative of the game

Don’t like the look of that defence at all. Shaw has done well in that position but it’s a different game altogether against City, and he is unreliable at the best of times.

Might need a comeback in the second half.

Fred so easily turned there. We've let them have the initiative early on sitting deep, but maybe that's the gameplan.

Well if our mission was to start slow and let City get a rhythm going we’ve done just that

One of the great positives of this season, wonderi mg what our game plan is, rather than if we’ve got one.

They’re shit scared of our attack.

Yep they seem more worried about us than we are of them. We just need to have a bit more belief in ourselves.

Fred got de Bruyne in his back pocket
