That gives us other options on the right.

Win-win.

Liked him at Newcastle when they were shit, great 2nd keeper for us. Number 1 is still an issue if De Gea has a few more Brentford's this season.

I can see Newcastle holding onto him because they feel they are contesting the same places as us and don't want to improve us. I think he'd play a bit and he probably improve Dave a little too.

They signed Chris Wood last season mainly to weaken the other teams around the drop. They are no mugs.

He’s old as £#%&!?

Seriously though, they just like having 4 keepers in the senior squad for some reason I wonder how much Granty, Heaton and whoever else ancient who never played have had out of the club in the last few years.

Always rated him when he played at Newcastle. Think he was a bit injury prone so will fit in well.

Helps with training games and drills to have an even number of 'keepers apparently.

Could play two separate games in training simultaneously if you have 4 'keepers in the squad.

Ten Hag loves those mini, 6-a-side type, one-touch games, doesn't he. Could play two of them side-by-side, 24 players, including 4 'keepers.

He's got a set of ears on him this £#%&!er. A proper old school wingnut.

Not sure if that's a good or bad thing for a goalkeeper. Could help to keep the sun off him?
