Change Evans for Rojo and Valencia for Rafael if both are fit to play but the rest is spot on
Want to find a place for Falcao however van Persie has got his mojo back and I hate playing Rooney in a deeper role
Poor Radamel

Can't see Valencia & Young being used as traditional fullbacks. Need at least Shaw back if reverting to a back four imo. Also, there’s an argument for keeping a back as the team obviously getting better at playing the system. Saying that, while I loved Carrick at CB the other day, we lose so much in midfield with him not there. A better holding player than Blind too, so could probably get away with playing Di-Maz, Herrera and Mata in there with him.

Great to have quality options tbh

Absolutely no idea why I dropped Rojo tbh. Hopefully he can play three at the back and allow Carrick move forward and get rid of the @#%&!stain for once and for all.

Would be nice if you swapped Valencia and Young for Shaw and Rafael. Falcao for RvP when we're three up.

Agreed if they're fit. Will find out later at the presser I suppose.

True. That formation easily transfers into 3 at the back though with Carrick dropping back in when the two full backs push forward a bit. It's good we can switch easily during games with Carrick being that versatile

Hoping Di Maz starts and regains some of the ridiculous form he showed early season.

He was injured last week, but if fit then he gets straight back in instead of Evans I'd say. JoJo and Rojo need to get some games together.

I really want Falcao to start but he won't drop Mata (the only vaguely possible choice)

Nor will he drop Fell£#%&!up, even if he has a fully fit squad. He's in there until we drop points

No idea what formation.

Would love to see Falcao start but no chance with RvP and Rooney on form, which is a good thing i suppose! Will see him over the busy xmas period i suspect.

I'm dreaming but front six of carrick, Herrera, di Maria, mata, Rooney and van Persia.

I just want Fellini out of the team.

I have no confidence that we will be able to play genuinely brilliant football with him there.

Every time the ball goes to him the move breaks down with his three touches to control and then under hitting the pass. :shakehead:

Please Father Christmas make it happen.

Think he will play the 3/5 at the back. Physio Room says we are down to 6 injuries, including Thorpe, so 5 injuries then. Rojo and Di Maria supposedly will be ready for the weekend, with Rafael, Blind and Shaw not available til later in the month.

De Gea

Jones Evans Rojo

Valencia Carrick Fellaini Young

Mata

Rooney Van Persie

obviously would prefer Herrera to Fellaini but just cant see it happening. Di Maria on the bench will hopefully get some minutes as too Falcao.

Subs; Lindegaard, Smalling, Herrera, Di Maria, Falcao, Blackett, Fletcher
