The Return of JC

Default Positives: Add your own.

I'll go first:

1) Liverpool showed nothing to suggest they are good enough to win the league.

2) Antonio Valencia. Improving all the time.

Next?

It'll add all the more to their crushing disappointment when they finish the season empty handed again.

VDS still a class act
we lost to them both times last year and still won the league
we get a chance at chelsea in a couple of weeks to put forget about this
satisfying to watch them win every trophy in one league it would seem
half of me was on the tele

Valencia.

Edwin looked good, and could of been embarrasing if Foster was in goal

1, It could be the kick up the arse we need.

2, Valencia looked good.

3, Owen looked sharp when he came on. He made things happen

4, Fergie will hopefully never pick Scholes & Carrick together in a big game again

5, VDS is back and looking sharp.

In 76 now this is true

Default Re: Positives: Add your own.

The positive in a negative sort of way is that we showed we still need some cutting edge and that might make Fergie bring something in during Jan.

Im still hit and miss on Valencia. He has some good stregth and puts in a shift, but Id like to see him attack the full backs more and to also cut inside more. At times he is very one dimensional, with the old style winger traits of trying to beat the man, get to the bye line and putting in a cross. Not necessarily a bad thing, but would like more variation.

Would like to see us start with 3 up front next week, Rooney, Berbatov and Owen.

slightly robbed yes, but we didnt play well at all, sad to say the best team won, but then again when you look at the fact that everytime we looked like stringing more than 2 passes together we were stopped by a cynical foul you may have a point.

ref was horribly bad and didnt protect us at all.
