Of course hes a legend.
For me he is streets ahead of Roy Keane and definitely the best utd player I have seen in my lifetime.

The fact that hes placed in such high esteem by other great players (I've seen Zidane virtually frothing at the mouth when talking about how good Scholes is) says it all. Forget the no-mark #@&%! journo's who slagged him rotten for sacking England off and who bum Lampard and Gerrard on a daily basis. Those who really know what they're talking about know the score.

Scholes & Keane are different types of player. Neither could do what the other could and they complimented each other perfectly.

For me as a player, obviously Eric's prescence was immense but Scholes>Eric.
With regards the Keane comment, all the talk at the time was about Keane being the best midfielder in the world at the time.....scholes was better
