Not excellent but he had Fabregas in his pocket.. played well. A danger in both boxes defended big dave at every set piece. Did everything asked of him, Worked really hard..

not at all, i just accept that his limitations can have a detrimental effect on the team overall just as any other player's can

the idea he has to play against city is not borne out by United's recent record against them when he starts

united's recent results v city when he starts are irrelevant. is he fit? is he on form? do we have any better players? does he fit in the team? all valid questions (at least two of which can currently be answered no). but..... how did we do 3 years ago? don't think so.

Players normally have day off after game.

Fellaini will start Sunday, Blind too. They'll do everything to get Fellaini sent off too, same referee as the game at OT too where he £#%&!ed up & never sent him off.

nss

rooney's recent impact v city would be relevant if he'd somehow inspired us or made the difference. he hasn't.

if LVG includes him then so be it, that would be a shame. but it's nowhere near the stick on some want to believe given the last 2 performances have been a big improvement in the way the team has played 90 minutes actually as a team

Like last year?

Valencia Blind Herrera in a 3. Need a modicum of pace in a 3 against them.

Front 3 go without saying for this game (presuming Falcao isn't fit to start).

I think it more relevant that rooney's form for united and england has been poor than his impact in our last game against city. but van persie and falcao have been pretty average too. rooney's main problem is not playing centre forward. as ziggy once sang, "there's only room for one..."

"shame" if rooney plays.
