The evil curse of the corpse was lifted & they began to fall away. Incredible scenes.
They won't get that close again for another decade.

Yep, it was like £#%&!ing clockwork. I too thought they had it wrapped up against City, and then the win at Norwich where they held on. But then Moyes went, Chelsea went out of Europe, Liverpool floundered in the league. Compared to that, City winning it doesn't seem so bad.
