Thumbs down Matic was overvalued by 20m euros

News to me, but it's on the BBC so must be true

Is it too late to sell him back to Chelsea?

Absolute stat-the-bores

'Football observatory'. Sounds right up bunks street.

Will turn out to be the best 50m we have spent in a long time and the bargain of the summer.

Based on that Lukaku and Lindelof were bargains.

This stuff about PSG overpaying by 87m euros for Mbappe is utter nonsense.

Monaco weren't going to sell him for 92m euros particularly to PSG

Also, there isn't any other alternative option who was as sought after so it's not as if they could have got an equivalent player for 92m euros

The only "value" a player has is what a club is willing to pay for him and what his current club are willing to sell him for.

These sorts of nonsense are for know nowts who are terrified of having to take a subjective view of the game and can only discuss it in terms of statistics.

In a word, tossers.

.

Exactly, everybody losing their shit and holding the 50m for Sigurdsson up as a sign the game is losing its marbles.

But Sigurdsson was worth at least 50m to Swansea he was their most important player and virtually kept them up last season so Everton had to pay something that Swansea would reluctantly accept.
